Garden Design : Introduction
The gardens I design are tailor-made for each individual, combining aesthetic beauty with function and quality. They range from urban contemporary spaces with strong lines and stylish planting, to large country gardens that have a more traditional feel.
The creative process of garden design is a sensitive response to the clients wishes, the location, an analysis of the space, its soil, plants and natural features. The garden is linked to the architecture of the house and its surroundings using materials and plants suitable for each setting.
Where appropriate, garden ponds, water features and specialised garden lighting are integrated into the design to create a distinctive atmosphere.
