I have been designing gardens since 1995. My training in both horticulture and garden design at Merrist Wood College in Surrey has been enhanced by interesting and diverse design projects, teaching and writing.
The experience and expertise that I’ve gradually developed over the years, benefits both my clients and my approach to designing their gardens.
A strong sense of design coupled with an understanding of horticulture, how plants grow and develop, is what underpins all my work. Whilst a commitment to quality, good craftsmanship and attention to detail are all values that are central to my designs.
Sustainability and intelligent use of materials make sense, and these are integrated into the design without compromising the aesthetic or practical use of the garden.
I have won awards from the Royal Horticultural Society for my garden designs, I’m a member of the Garden Media Guild and have co-written a book about planting design.
